Bun-Chuck Norris, Texas Ranger

There are three people in our family. And since we brought home three bunnies, my son decreed that each of us got one to name. I named my bunny “Bun-Chuck Norris” after nunchucks and everyone’s favorite Texas Ranger. We call him Norris for short.

The original

Norris is aptly named. He is the most active of our bunnies. He kicks the hardest, jumps the highest, and does some pretty amazing acrobatic spinning back kicks. He is also the most eager to be held . . . and put back down again.

Chris built a big (cat-proof) playpen so the rabbits could run around on the grass in nice weather. It has a girls’ side and a boys’ side, to prevent any surprise litters.

As soon as we put Norris in the playpen, he chases his brother full-speed for several laps, takes a few flying leaps, then aggressively digs a hole. Then he starts all over again.
