TWILA FARMER has has illustrated over 20 books and countless publications. For several years, she traveled internationally illustrating on location for non-profit and Christian mission organizations. Her artwork continues to be used in literacy books, health and medical publications, and agroforestry manuals around the world. She’s known for her nostalgia-invoking watercolors and quirky humor.

Twila lives in Missouri with her family, nine chickens, three rabbits, and a bunch of cats. When she’s not drawing, Twila homeschools her son, gardens, knits socks, and practices karate.

Twila holds an MFA in Illustration through the University of Hartford, and is a 2nd degree blackbelt in ShoshinKan Karate.
