Princess Irenie

Meet Irenie, our sweet but rather antisocial cat. She's a ninja. You don't see her but she's always watching you. She also likes high places. How high I did not realize until recently. Can you spot a cat in the photo below?

When we moved to the farm, she started arriving for mealtimes via climbing down a tree near the back porch.

Then she started peering through the 2nd floor studio window.

We finally realized she'd found a narrow access to the attic from the roof and likes to hang out there when it’s chilly outside. I guess better Irenie than a raccoon or bat!

As the weather has gotten warmer, we’ve been spotting her on the ridge-line of the house in the evenings. It’s probably a great place to watch the sun set.

This last image is an illustration I did of Irenie at our old house. She loved to sit on a high fence and stare at me while I gardened. Now she's found a better view.
